About the exhibit:

Silence Speaks presents a collection of works by Ahavani Mullen which have evolved from a place of silence. Navigating the seen and the unseen, these pieces explore how the earth plane and the higher, inner worlds blend with each other and complete each other. The result are relatively permanent documents, those that contain not only a record of an experience, but also the lingering fragrance of an impermanent consciousness.

Wind, Encaustic + mixed media on wood panel

My encaustic work is finally getting bigger! I just recently completed Wind, above, which measures about 19 x 22″.

Come to see it and other new goodies during our pre-holiday Open House this Friday, November 18 between 6-10pm at Cornelia Arts Building. Loads of art, snacks and music!
